Charles Monck Vaughan, R.N. Priest, MM185
Charles Monck Vaughan was born on the 21st of December 1847 and baptised on the 28th of July 1848 at Bronllys, Breconshire, Wales. His father was Charles and his mother, Emily.
In 1851, the Vaughan family were living at Pontywall Hall, Broynllis, Hay, Breconshire, Wales. Charles senior was Vicar of Landevalley and Cerriyacadarn.
Charles junior had two brothers and two sisters. The family employed five servants and a governess.
On the 21st of December 1874, Charles Monck Vaughan married Christina Watson at Manchester, Lancashire.
Charles enrolled in the Royal Navy on the 7th of September 1881 as Chaplain.

Charles died on the 16th of November 1915 and is buried in plot MM185 at the Teignmouth Old Cemetery.
