Mary Parker Wife Married aged 42, born 1799 at Chudleigh, Devon
Mary Furneaux Daughter aged 17, born 1824 at Devon
Eleanor Furneaux Daughter aged 16, born 1825 at Devon.

George Bentley married Eleanor Furneaux in the 1st quarter of 1845 at Devon.

Mary Ellen Bentley was born in the 2nd quarter of 1847 at Teignmouth, Devon, and baptised on the 2nd of June 1847 at St James’ Church, Teignmouth, Devon.

In 1851, Mary Parker, Head, and George Bentley were the Inn Keepers at the Commercial Inn, Brook Street, West Teignmouth, Devon;
Eleanor Bentley was an assistant

The family employed two servants.

By 1861, Mary Parker was living at 62, Brook Street, West Teignmouth, Devon and was a retired Inn Keeper.

Mary Ellen Bentley died on the 10th of May 1868 aged 21 years and was buried on the 14th of May 1868 at Teignmouth Old Cemetery, plot D76.

The Bentley family was still running the Commercial Inn in 1871.

Mary Parker was still living in Brook Street with a Grand Daughter, Susan Mary Bartlett, aged 24, a Daily Governess.

 Mary Parker died in the 1st quarter of 1881 aged 82 years.

Also in 1881, George and Eleanor Bentley were still living at the Commercial Inn, 46, Higher Brook Street, Teignmouth West, Devon. Their niece, Susan M Dawkins, Married, aged 34, born 1847 at Lancashire, a Railway Clerks wife, was living with them. They employed one domestic servant.

George and Eleanor Bentley had retired from the Commercial Inn in 1891 and were living at Bitton Street, West Teignmouth, Devon. They had a boarder staying with them, Norton Moore Carey, who was single, aged 26, and a Civil Servant Out Door  Office HMC.

George Bentley died on the 15th of November 1892 at Teignmouth, Devon.

In 1901, Eleanor was living with her son George who was now the Inn Keeper at the Royal Standard.

Eleanor Bentley died in the 2nd quarter of 1906 aged 80 years.
